This page is a desperate plea for help for the baby Mihai Alexandru Hogas born in Romania, with severe liver and heart problems. At the same time this page is an attempt to centralize the efforts to rescue the baby, by a group of volunteers, with the consent of the baby's parents.

The doctors at the Clinical Institute Fundeni recommended an urgent liver transplant in order for the baby to live. (See the referral on the medical records page). To this end, we are searching for
* A medical institution and medical personnel with the necessary expertise and will to help the baby.
* Financial support from institutions and individuals who can and want to help with the enormous medical expenses, well beyond the possibilities of most families in Romania. Based on the inquiries we made so far, the cost of the surgery ranges between 85000-100000€ (approx. $110000 - $130000).
